If I had a million bucks I’d hire somebody to transcribe interviews for me. But I don’t and I am in horror of how disgusting I am gonna sound talking to Patrick Stickles so I am procrastinating posting the interview.
I will get it done but not with my usual lightening speed… particularly because I feel like hell and am still recovering from Saturday. Back in the day, writing for Creem, there was a three month lag between the interview and the posting so don’t complain too much.
We here at Rock NYC post 20 a week day and 15 a weekend day and we keep at that except for breaking news or lives reviews. And until more people choose to help the cause and write for us we will keep to that. But as the editor I can change my mind so you are only getting 19 tomorrow.
Of the many things I discovered last night, the least surprising was I got itright a coupla months ago when I assumed he, like my ex Marie Lynn, was raised Catholic. Of the five women I’ve loved two were Jewish and three were Catholic. Sin, guilt, redemption, etc.
What else? My complete thanks to Patrick who couldn’t have been kinder to me. A wonderful bloke and I couldn’t appreciate it more. He gave all the time I asked for and answered everything completely and honestely. As an ex would say: what a mensch.
And my thanks to Helen Bach for taking over Rock NYC today!!!. It’s so nice to know that if I died tomorrow Rock NYC would continue without me. The website doesn’t need me anymore!! It has a life of its own and I am so happy to know it.
