Camp Bisco, who have been kind enough to guest list rock nyc writers whenever we've requested it, sent us a letter detailing their good work with Hurricane Irene relief.

As you are aware, Hurricane Irene created widespread damage to the eastern United States before turning into a Tropical Storm that devastated the northeast and Upstate New York. Camp Bisco, which calls the region home, was quick to establish a fund to provide aid to Schenectady County & surrounding areas. We are pleased to announce that we have crossed the $15,000 dollar mark and will be extending the deadline to donate in hopes of reaching our goal of $20,000.
Many of you have been generous in your coverage of Camp Bisco throughout the years and we hope that we can once again count on you to help spread this important news. Please let me know if I can provide you with any additional information, pictures or interviews with the organizers.
