Until I can figure out how to be in two places at the same time, I'm gonna have to wonder if I shoulda gone with bruce over Barry Manilow, Wednesday. Barry was better than Bruce was at MSG earlier this year, but this setlist is pretty awesome and not just because of the Levon Helm cover.
According to brooklynvegan.com, from whence I got this pix and setlist, Bruce pulled out a card from the audience which had written on it "Play One For Levon" and proceeded to cover "The Weight".
Pretty awesome, plus both "No Surrender " and "Rosalita".
But stil, way too much from Wrecking Ball.
And anway, they didn't get "Johnny 99" -easily the best song at MSG. And I can't see anything on this setlist good enough to replace it. Not even personal fave "Bishop Dance".
I still haven't decided whether to take the trip to the Meadowlands in September. I am prevaricating…
