I love John Prine almost as much as the next guy so the thought of a tribute album fills me with something or the other… This one, Broken Hearts And Dirty Windows looks pretty good as these things go. Conor back with the Mystic Valley Band is the selling point for me and the snippet I heard sounds like he’s double tracked or sharing lead vocals. My problem with Prine is he is a touch too writerly for my tastes. Not deadly, mind, but not Iris Dement.
