Yesterday in the US Bring Me The Horizon’s new album “There Is A Hell, Believe Me I’ve Seen It, There Is A Heaven, Let’s Keep It A Secret” was released and as soon as I popped it in my CD player, I loved it. After listening to the songs I already knew, “Fuck”(sorry mom) and “It Never Ends”, which seem to get better each time I hear them, I moved onto some newer ones.
“Crucify Me” is intense and loud. Absolutely crazy and not a good song to listen to when you have a headache. Besides that, talk about a fantastic opener. It definitely got me pumped up for the rest of it, and I was just thinking this must be one of their best albums yet. The choir adds an eerie touch to the song and this album seems to have gone down a darker, creepier path than the other albums.
I’m insanely in love with the beautiful “Don’t Go”. It’s complete perfection. The song is balanced and seems a bit out of place on the album, but this song is unbelievable. Probably in my top three favorites on the album.
“Memorial” is a gorgeous instrumental and shows BMTH really stepped it up on this album. It’s way different than the other songs in more than one aspect, and it’s great. The band definitely seems to be striving and taking their music in a bit of a different direction.
Download it as soon as possible or get out of your house and pick up this album. Bring Me The Horizon’s put out an incredible disc.
