Bring Me The Horizon fans lash out

Apparently compassion isn't allowed at concerts anymore.

Bring Me The Horizon was playing a show in Salt Lake City, Utah.  The band stopped playing because Oli wanted to help out an injured crowd member, probably from moshing or getting hit.  Once the show ceased, crowd members started throwing water bottles at the kind screamer.  Oli proceeded to empty out waterbottles at the rude concert goers.  After he did this, audience members rushed to the stage, about twenty or thirty of them, and some got up on the stage with the band.  They attempted to assault many of the band members.

A spokesperson for the band said ""The crowd went amock and went crazy. This just one isolated case of craziness that they couldn't control, unfortunately. Oli didn't get hurt."

Oli wrote this on his Tumblr: ""A bunch of soft lads stomped on a lil kids head 5 seconds into our set, so we stopped playing, had a bit of a banter with em telling em to do one, then some fatty gets on stage tries to hit me, in which he completely fails, misses and falls over, and then gets sparked out by someone In our touring party. The “crew” then responded by running around the venue, breaking a very young girls jaw and stamping on her, and injuring a few more of our young fans. Proper hard init. Not a member in Bmth or any of our touring party got so much as a scratch."

The band continued playing, and are also moving along in their tour.

It's sad how their fans ended up to violent.  Oli was really just trying to help and it's terrible and scary how they didn't care.  Watching the footage really made me disappointed because going to rock shows used to be about moshing, but then helping eachother back up and brushing one another off.  To hear of this violence and complete disregard for other humans is unsettling.
