Bright Eyes "We Are Nowhere And It's Now"

I've been a fan of Bright Eyes and Conor Oberst in general for quite some time now.  His lyrics are gorgeous, you can always hear the emotion in his voice, and the music is beautifully composed.

His song "We Are Nowhere And It's Now" has become my favourite song ever.  The words really touch me.  "Why are you scared to dream of God, when it's salvation that you want?" always gets to me.  Every second of the song feels so perfect and thought out.  The lyrics are a story- one that's relatable and intricate.

The build up throughout the entire is not only reflected in the music, but in Conor's voice.  It ends up sounding so in despair and pleading.  It's nearly heartbreaking.  You can really feel his emotions.  It's so raw and beautiful.  I've only felt that in Oberst's voice.  Some other singers to different extents, but never that real.  I feel what he feels.

The song as a whole is completely stunning.  It's an absolute masterpiece and no other tune can compare. 

It's truly the greatest song of all time.
