Former Beach Boy Brian Wilson reportedly blew away approximately 50 premier clients of the San Francisco Art Exchange this past Saturday night with a 14 song mini-set performed by him and his band.
The event was initially planned as a meet and greet to promote a new book of Peter Blake illustrations. The book was designed as a companion piece to Wilson’s latest CD release, “That Lucky Old Sun”.
The idea to play a few songs grew from there. Collective jaws dropped, tears were shed, and the small audience sang along with glee.
