I took my ex, Marie Lynn’s, name off the masthead because she hadn’t written for us in over a year. I don’t think she noticed!! But she did call me and tell me she had just been to Philadelphia to see Brad Paisley and so I gotta listening to Paisley again.
“The World” is one of THOSE ONES. It’s like if you don’t get it? You don’t get two genre’s: pop and country. A nifty rocker -and a great video by the way, and it seems kind but it isn’t. I mean, how many times can you tell a girl she DOESN’T MATTER… another head of hair?
The pay off is sweet but not sweet enough so it works as both a pull up and put down. Perfect for the way I feel about Marie Lynn who is dating a cop right now.
But to me? She was the world.
