The Gulf Coast is drowning in oil
The eco system is fucked. Hard. The simplest bottom of the food chain, is soon to be gone. Yeah we’re going to see the rescue teams cleaning birds and turtles and we will cheer it on. But then? No home, no food, no life. The impact the BP leak is having on me is staggering. I cannot for the life of me fathom how the fuck this can happen. What is going on?

The concert was actually held last Sunday at Madison Square Garden. Did you know that? No? Me neither. So who performed May 16? Lenny Kravitz, John Legend, Mos Def, Ani DiFranco, Allen Toussaint… I dont want to be crass but..
