Bob Dylan played his first concert on mainland Chin on Wednesday and, vetted by the Chinese goverment, here is the setlist:
'Gonna Change My Way Of Thinking'
'It's All Over Now, Baby Blue'
'Beyond The Horizon'
'Tangled Up In Blue'
'Honest With Me'
'Simple Twist Of Fate'
'Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dum'
'Love Sick'
'Rollin' And Tumblin'
'A Hard Rain's A-Gonna Fall'
'Highway 61 Revisited'
'Spirit On The Water'
'Thunder On The Mountain'
'Ballad Of A Thin Man'
'Like A Rolling Stone'
'All Along The Watchtower'
'Forever Young'
Note no major protest, both "The Times They Are A-Changin'" and " Blowing In The Wind" were given the boot, though the anti-nuke classic, "A Hard Rains Gonna fall" is there.
He might have tried a coupla vorn again songs, though i don't know if it woulda made it it. And how about, "Hurricane" -though any words about even the US Judicial system might reflect poorly on China. Which doesn't actually have one.
