That's Damon Albarn talking to Pitchfork. But he already admitted earlier this year that he plans to take Blur on a US tour. It would certainly make sense, right? He already did the UK and Blur had one huge hit here (you can hear it at Sports Stadiums to this day: "Song 2") and even if they didn't were a big big cult band here. I saw them as early as the Parklife tour and it was sold out then.
Still, no way is Blur gonna have the sort of tour Gorillaz had. Two nights at the Beacon, maybe. Or even a couple at RCMH. But MSG? I don't think so.
