Blink 182: Forever Cliche

I've never really been a Blink-182 fan but I decided to watch their new music video "Up All Night".  There was a lot of hype about it, but I didn't get my hopes up.

I'm glad I didn't.  The video is extremely predictable.  It's just a bunch of teenagers meaninglessly partying, dancing, wrecking things- stereotypical teen things.  It wasn't interesting.  Not a part of it grabbed my attention.  It's been done a hundred times before.  Except for the wall of death in the video.

That's right.  Blink attempting something close-ish? to a breakdown, and the kids about to do a wall of death,  How this fits in with the bubblegum sound and nondescript partying leading to fighting I have no clue.  But it was a pretty amusing try.

As for the song, it sounds just like every other Blink tune.  All their songs sound exactly the same.  There's no variety, no hooks.  Their sound is boring and old.

A cliche video done by a cliche band.
Typical.
