When I was friended by the band Count Your Blessings on Myspace, I friended them and knew I had to review them immediately. They’re a band with a million members(okay, six), and each and every one of them are very talented.
“Coming Back To You” had me hooked in the first ten seconds. The exact kind of music that is my favourite, but it’s with a bit of a twist. Great hooks and a fun melody make this song one of my personal favourites on their Myspace.
“Tore Up” is one of the best songs I’ve heard in a while. It brings back memories of the time I got really into Four Year Strong and From Jupiter. This song is just so perfect and outstandingly unique.
The cover of Taylor Swift’s “Love Story” makes me actually be able to actually tolerate a Taylor Swift song. By far the best cover of any Swift song I’ve ever heard. I’ll have to tell my friends who like Taylor to listen to this version and see which they like better.
Count Your Blessings is an incredible band that’s one of the best I’ve heard in a while. They’re easy to listen to and I hope they become the next big thing. They can only go up from here.
