So that’s how we’ll probably tour this time around.”
I saw BEP at MSG last year, at the height of their success and riding The E.N.D. hard to the finish line, and despite all the good will in the world, they couldn’t connect with 20,000 people. It was a poor set. Not because they couldn’t fill the arena with special effects, they could. Because the music couldn’t connect with so many people. The band wasn’t good enough.
They will be disastrous in a Stadium. 50,000 people? they can’t do it, it’s as simple as that.
