By now we have all heard that the 40th Anniversary of Miles Davis’s jazz-rock-funk fusion masterpiece Bitches Brew, will be re-released by Sony Music/Legacy Recordings in 2 configurations. The Legacy Edition will be in stores everywhere on August 31. The Collector’s Edition comes out September 14, 2010. BITCHES BREW — D’ one wrapped wit the wunnerful, wunnerful, Mati Klarwein artwork — first blasted through the envelope in April 1970 (Columbia Records), and then again in 1998 as The Complete Bitches Brew Sessions (again on Columbia) with the original album plus all the studio sessions. Well, 3 IS my lucky number. Baaaad things happen in threeez.
