So when just surfing the internet, I came across a band name I’d heard quite often: The Bigger Lights. Wow, I was blown away.
“Hey Summer” is absolutely incredible. It sort of reminds me a bit of Anarbor in the way that they have a bit of pizazz, if you will.
They really sound like they’re having a lot of fun, and this song really gets you pumped up. If the chorus was just a bit faster and upbeat, the song would be perfect but hey, you can’t have everything.
Still, it’s a wonderful song.
“Closer” has been on repeat for quite a while now. The lyrics are perfect, each little hook in the song really grabs my attention and keeps me listening. It’s so well put together and it truly flows.
“When Did We Lose Ourselves” is fantastic. It’s heartfelt and pure. It’s rare to hear a song with meaning, emotion, etc. so that’s why I love this song so much. TBL is an outstanding group and only hearing their songs through a computer makes me want to be their best friends.
Heartfelt, sincere sounding pop.
