Steve Tyler has put down the pills long enough to threaten a law suite against Aerosmith for the attempt to replace him.
Billboard reports that Tyler and his team of lawyers are ‘taking steps to reassert his position in the band.’
Apparently Aerosmith has shareholders (THAT’S freaking weird) were called together to discuss this and according to Skip Miller (who has a name that sounds like Beaver Cleavers neighbor) on February 9th he will hold a meeting to discuss the bands future. He states that Aerosmith without Steve Tyler is like The Stones without Jagger or U2 without that bastard.

Billboard notes that Tyler is in therapy for a painkiller addiction brought on by orthopedic problems.
Joe Perry must be pretty sick of this already, being the designated driver sucks.
