Betty Buckley To Release Two New Albums

I’ve had a big time crush on Betty Buckley since you played the step-mom of your dreams on Eight Is Enough. Saw her loads of times at the Bottom Line but blew me off her Town hall gig last Frday. I know. I was broke and the cheapest tix? $60.00.
i had already blown big bucks on Sade and Usher and… well, i ran out of time.
Betty was promoting two albums, Bootleg: Boardmixers From the Road released last Friday and Ghostlight -the latter produced by T Bone Burnett. I’ve heard one track from the latter, “Blue Skies” and I can’t see the point at all. In concert? Sure… why not? On record? How many million times do I have to hear these fucking songs. I am sick of it to be perfectly blunt.
In an interview with Broadway World, Betty said: “T Bone and I grew up together in Fort Worth, Texas. He had his own recording studio by the time he was seventeen years old. When we were both nineteen he made the first archival recording of my voice. There were only two reel-to-reel tapes of that recording and one was sent to my first agent – now Broadway producer, Rodger Hess – and he kept his reel-to-reel recording and he played it for Phil Birsh who released it on Playbill Records two years ago. “

OK, I admit it, that’s pretty cool.
