Don't toy with me Chris Martin, I am a dangerous man, I truly am. The Coldplay leader made the following promise in Brisbane, Australia on Wednesday: "This is the last big show for three years or so. I don't want to stop.'' And that's why I can't take the plank, what a tease.
I will be going to see Coldplay at Barclay Center New Year's Eve and after a year where they wowed me with a good set at Radio City and then put me to sleep with an arrogant and enervated headline gig at Izod, this one should tell the story. And to make it even more exciting, the band is taking a three year break after that.
And may I just add that I have problems taking a one week break from my job so how the Public School weeds rate three years off is beyond me. Anyway, I will be very interesting to see how Chris and BFF Jova manage to bring in 2013, and also, added plus, I won't feel obliged to see em again for years and years!
