Liam Gallagher thinks that his new band Beady Eye will be bigger than Oasis!
He said that it sounds similar to Oasis, but also like T-Rex and Jerry Lee Lewis, as he declared: ‘I’ve got no doubt about the music, no doubt about me. I’ve never sounded better. It’s proper rock’n’roll. Oasis was a pop band compared to what we’re doing.’
The album is not released yet, but the band already has a website and a facebook page with more than 8,000 fans.
Beady Eye is pretty much Oasis without Noel, and Liam said that even though he hasn’t talked to his brother for a year, Noel will ‘come crawling back very fucking soon’. As everybody is reporting, Noel was pretty much ‘the’ songwriter of the band, and I would add that Oasis’s music has always been tortured by super egos and sibling rivalry.
But Liam is also making clothes under the menswear label Pretty Green

Ok, if he says so, and I have read Yoko Ono is a fan, although I hardly see what’s so unique about these t-shirts and jackets except their high prices.
But in the future, may be he should stick with couture instead of music.
