The King of the beach got some jail time? As Iman wrote yesterday, it sure seems so!
Nathan William from Wavves was arrested yesterday in Germany after the police discovered a bag of weed in his car. He only spent a few hours in jail and was soon released on bail:
“We got stopped at a roadside check and I had six bags in the car and they only found one– the fucking dogs never work. I bet it’s high from all the fumes. Anyways, they put me in a cell which was a little nerve-wracking. More so because I was an American in a German jail and not because I have long gay hair. I did wrestle for four years in high school, so I could have fucked somebody up. So yeah, then I gave em €200 and walked out… not a terrible deal. And now I’m getting high again.”
He tweeted about it, Bethany tweeted back a ‘HANG IN THERE BOO #FREEWILLIAMS’ with the picture of a little cat looking miserable.
€200? How much is that in weed money? Oh well, he should definitively stay in California: even though proposition 19 was defeated during the last election, Marijuana legalization proponents plan to put another similar measure on the ballot in 2012.
So there’s hope for this Weed Demon.
