More MTV stuff but this actually about MTVu.
That’s the college kids version of MTV a bit less commercial a bit more edgy indy hip. Well not really but it tries harder and has less programming.
Each week they offer up a handful of up and coming videos to assess and vote on for the Freshman video of the week.
This week contained an artist we’ve not mentioned before but most likely should have.

Lyrically fantastic, repetitive and with a hook. I like rocker rappers. Not too low rider but with some sort of clarity. Moderate cursing.
“Earthmover” is a post industrial video starring 50 invisible men. Imagery is disturbing but intriguing. Two vitals for me. The song itself is pretty potent. Check it out
