AT&T Putting The Knife In Apple’s Back

Now that AT&T have killed unlimited access to the internet and you have to pay for every Apples App -what does this mean for Apple?

Apple essentially saved AT&T by giving em exclusitivity for their iphones. And the Iphones is making a fortune on apps and apps need wireless and unlimited means nobody is worried about running up the minutes (remember when aol went unlimited???) .

The minute the you have to pay to use the apps, it will fall apart.

So AT&T just fucked Apple.

And Pandora is truly screwed, unlimited access to streaming songs won’t work if you have to pay for the time you are on. And that helps Apple.

All of which leaves us with the still unavailable Spotify which, not unlike cars that don’t run on fuel, is being stopped from entering the States.

Spotify requires a monthly fee for unlimited access and it doesn’t even use the web.

Lefsetz compared monthly charges for Spotify to paying for cable.

But it ain’t here yet.
