As Long As I am Raving About A Song: “Mkele Mbembe” by Americans In France

“Shine a light in the darkness” appears to be on a lot of young bands minds and that is the theme on “Mkele Mbembe” off Americans In France’s excellent first album Prezlevania. Here they sound like Velvet Underground mixed in with Young marble Giants and it is a powerful statement -sorta minimilast drone with a melody peeking thru  and the singers Richard Hellish whinge. Great song.
