Reports are coming out of Detriot that Aretha Franklin has pancreatic cancer.
Pancreatic cancer, even by the horrorshow of any cancer, is scary stuff. The survival rate after a year is 20%. Five years is 4%.
One relative has claimed she has cancer, another relative has claimed her family are very worried and detriot News cites somebody familiar with the situation as claiming it is pancreatic cancer.
This is terrible news and our prayers go out to Aretha and her family.
