How big a fan am I of the Buzzcocks? My column in the East Village Eye in the eighties was named after the Buzzcocks compiliation Singles Going Steady and the initial name for this blog was the same and I actually did call it singlesgoingsteady.com and changed it maybe two days later.
Now I hear Mute Records are re-releasing the Buzzcocks first three albums Another Music in a Different Kitchen, Love Bites, and A Different Kind of Tension. Plus the hits Singles Going Steady plus rarities, live concerts, etc. What I don’t see is the very early Buzzcocks back when Howard Devoto, the EP Spiral Scratch….
