The Red Shoes is one of the most glorious dance movies of all time and there is a 35mm showing of it tonight at Film Forum on Houston Street.

Thelma Schoonmaker, Oscar-winning editor (Raging Bull, The Departed) and wife of the late Michael Powell, will introduce the 7:00 screening on Friday with a restoration demonstration and Q&A following the film.
