I wrote a post yesterday about Titus Andronicus playing a concert Sunday April 11th, to benefit Amnesty International’s “Men Can Stop Rape” at Red Hook High School, 130pm.
Our (as hard as we might try) irrepressible Helen Bach wrote on a comment that she would give $50 to Amnesty if Patrick shaves off his beard and I later said I would match it.
Emily commented below and pointed out it might give offense and she is 100% right. I don’t know what i was thinking of.
God knows if people started in on the way I look they’d never end.
My apologies to Patrick -who has been a good friend to Rock NYC.
And I will forward $50 to Amnesty anyway….
