On Monday January 24th, Iron & Wine! They will perform a live set at Amoeba in celebration of the new album, ‘Kiss Each Other Clean’. I have never experienced their quiet acoustic live.
On Tuesday January 25th, Cold War Kids is playing and will be signing their new album, ‘Mine Is Yours’. I will see them tonight at another location by the way!
On Thursday January 27th, Grouplove will be playing, so after all these free shows at the Bootleg, nobody in LA has any excuse for not seeing them!
On Tuesday February 1st, Baths. I haven’t listened to their debut album ‘Cerulean’, but it was on Pitchfork’s year-end favorite list, for what it is worth!
On Wednesday February 2nd, the Brooklyn-based band Men will perform, and they are described as an ‘art/performance collective that focuses on the energy of live performance and radical potential of dance music’. A true program.
I’m glad they have announced new shows, it has been a while…
