So American Idol was absolutely surprising. When they dressed as vampires(cliche) and sang “Believe” by The Bravery, it was actually good. Rascal Flatts’ performance was not so good. If I was a fan, I’d be disappointed.
But I was even more disappointed when Michael was in the bottom three, and NOT Aaron Kelly. Casey I could care less about and Siobhan too, but that is probably the most interesting bottom three in a while.
I had no idea that Lady Antebellum was country. A shirt of them in Hot Topic certainly fooled me. Shakira had a pretty skirt and the song was fun and she was smiling and looked like she was having fun.
Siobhan being sent home wasn’t a huge surprise but with her being the only one in the group with that kind of range, it kind of made the top 5 less diverse in their ranges. Leaving with the judges’ good wishes, there isn’t a doubt on my mind that she will get into the music business.
