Alyson Camus Has A Problem,,,

e-mail from alyson camus:
“Hey, Since you asked about my luck with contests… not sure what kind of picture.
Another thing, have you ever experienced stupid security guards at concerts? The one who talked to me tonight was so stupid, and he became bizarre when he saw me taking notes during the concert, saying ‘You don’t have the right to do that, taking information’ what’s the fuck? I was just writing the title of the songs, then he became mean with me.
I asked for the setlist at the end of the show, and he shouted at me NOOOO !
I think people are scared when they see someone writing in a public place, it is not the first time it happens, people ask me all the time what I’m writing and they feel uncomfortable. So weird in a time when everyone is taking pictures and movies everywhere, and nobody cares, but writing, that’s scary!”
Post by Alyson,
I have an addiction, I confess, it’s not alcohol, nor tobacco, not even gambling, but may be close to it,.. It’s about contests! Contests on the web to win concert tickets, because I have won so many times lately, it has become an addiction. It is so much fun and the reward system of my brain got activated each time I receive an email ‘You have won tickets for tonight’.
It is an addiction because it is not reasonable: my house is a mess, I am behind my school work more than I have ever been, but I continue to play the contest game every time I see one on the web. My last one was a Gogol Bordello at the Nokia club yesterday night, not so long ago I won for the Black Keys at the Palladium, during the summer it was Frank Black at the Mint, then Laura Marling at the El Rey, plus several smaller shows I forgot about! Insane.
I need to stop to have at least a few evenings to catch up with my school work and especially to sleep! But I have an addiction.
