I’ve admired Kevin Greenspon’s work with his label Bridgetown since catching his labels band Cloud Nothings open for Titus Andronicus around the begining of Spring. I raved about Cloud Nothings (who are in the process of taking off, they opened for Wavves the other day) and Kevin got in touch and I’ve loved every single thing the guy has brought to my attention.
Kevin recently sent me a rough a rough mix of his new song “Post-Life” from his upcoming split album with Cloud Nothings and yes it is that good even at this stage.
A fuzzy disquietening heaviness, that islight at the same time. Almost ambient in quality, it has that unique ly distracted Greenspon vocal.
