Adele And Beyonce To Play At First Lady's 50th Birthday

When your husband is the leader of free world, one of the many perks is that you get to to pal around with famous musicians, Sir Pail reverend Al, Hova and wife… Yea, they all played for our current commander and chief.

And our current First Lady, Michelle Obama, not only is pretty cool, very popular and has good taste in music and two young daughters to keep her fresh, she also has a 50th birthday on January 14th, 2014.

That’s pretty cool, right? Having your half century while living in the white House? It should make for some party and the rumor mill has Beyonce and Adele as the entertainment. Now how much fun will that be? Happy you asked and the simple answer is I have no clue. I wouldn't’t mind seeing Adele in person even though I really dislike her. Just for the “wow” factor and if ‘Chel invited me to the gig I would definitely consider it.

Adele also appears pleased at the prospect:. A source close to Adele told UK tab the Daily Mail: America's First Lady will be holding a huge celebrity-packed party for her birthday at the White House next year and, as she adores Adele and Beyonce, she has asked them both to sing. Adele has graciously accepted and waived her usual fee for the high-profile private performance. She will sing a selection of her most-loved hits for the First Lady and her friends."

Does Adele actually have a most loved hits yet? I mean, she has released a total of two damn albums, she isn’t the Queen Mother. Indeed, the Queen Mother isn’t the Queen Mother any more.

I was just listening to 21 for the first time in years and I still can’t stand it. OK, fine, I will give her “Someone Like You”. Psychotic? Sure it is psychotic but it is catchy enough. But the rest of the album? I can’t even remotely here it. Actually, I don’t particularly are for “Someone Like You” any more, either.

Anyway, I doubt very much I get an invite to her party and isn’t 50 a little old for cakey and candles?
