Active Viewing: Concert Picks For Week Of June 25th, 2012

With their first album, Manifest, out their, and their hip quota out the park, the beat based indie band with the little knock out lead singer Friends is the one to catch this week. AT Bowery Ballroom on Saturday. PS All the bands hang out at the bat before gigs at Bowery Ballroom so you can stalk her… maybe a certain bad boy with only one direction will be there.

Monday – Iron Maiden – Prudential Center  Todd tells me Alice Cooper sounded terrible but Iron Maiden rocked when he caught the show at Jone's Beach.

Tuesday –  The Soft Parade – BB Kings – With the exception of the Fab Faux, this Doors tribute band is the tour tribute band to beat. Plus they have a better name.

Wednesday – Phish – Jones Beach – I SWEAR if it was at Summerstage or the Great lawn, I'd have gone Happy Independence Day.

Thursday – CBGB Festival – I'd go with Agnostic Front t Webster Hall over Cheetah Chrome at Bowery Electric. Men of good faith may differ.

Saturday – Roger Waters  Performs The Wall – Visually, it should beat out "Dark Side Of The Moon", musically, not so much.

Sunday –  Musiq – BB King's – Art damaged new r&b at its second best
