On Tuesday at Carnegie Hall there is a Rolling Stone tribute with everybody from Carolina Chocolate Drops to Roseanne Cash playing hits from the bands golden age 1964 – 1971. If Steve Earle does "Dead Flowers" I will personally flip out.
Monday – The Black Keys – MSG – I'm going to the following show and I am kinda betting they'll suck. But definitely worth finding out for sure. PS Arctic Monkeys are the opening act.
Wednesday – New Build – Mercury Lounge – LCD Soundsystem and Hot Chip members sell out.
Thursday – The Saw Doctors – The Stone Pony – With the Pogues retired, these guys are with of the Irish bands to beat.
Friday – Casting Crows – Prudential Center – No, I can't stomach them at any price but for some weird reason I am really tempted to check out this Bible thumping rock band.
Saturday – BB King's – Black 47 – Another Irish band ready, willing and able to take over the Pogues thorny crown,
Sunday – Gwar – Starland Ballroom – It will be loud
