So Feinstein’s is so no more and Michael has moved himself to San Francisco and opened a new room and yes, folks, it is missed but here he is again back for a Christmas stand at Birdland. A little pricey but should be worth the admission fee –I’ll be there Christmas Eve and Mike will be jazzing things up through December 28 th.
Monday – Trans Siberian Orchestra – Prudential Arena – Prog-rock goes to Christmas and the most successful rock and roll orchestra continues to print money
Thursday – Pitbull – Barclay Center – After stealing Jingle Ball from under Miley’s nose, my guess he will bring the center to its knees
Friday – The Disco Biscuits – Best Buy – They killed it last year, sortta jam band with funk in the machine
Saturday – Phish – Madison Square Garden – They were monumental last year, same time, same venue
Sunday – Patti Smith – Webster Hall – Well since she aint playing NYE anymore, why not?
