Her March concert at Prudential Center earlier this year is firmly entrenched as my favorite show of 2013, and while I expect Taylor Swift to have many more problems projecting at Metlife on Saturday, my money is on Taylor to pull it off.

Tuesday – Cypress Hill – PNC – Smoking pot as political position apparently still exists.

Tuesday – Swing Out Sister -BB Kings – Indie rockers formed pop conglom back when and unbelievably still doing it.

Tuesday – The Polyphonic Spree – MHOW – Harper Simon opening

Tuesday – Phish – PNC – Oh yeah, I don’t hate em any more

Wednesday – Aerosmith – Foxwoods – Win my award for worst major rock band still playing, so should be good for a giggle

Wednesday – Cyndi Lauper – Beacon – Performing the entire first solo album – 30 years changes everything.

Wednesday – Sweet – Bergen Performing Arts – Yes, “Ballroom Blitz” Sweet. “Wig Wam Bam” “Little Willie”!!!!

Thursday – Belle And Sebastian – Prospect Park – Havent seen em in decades, wonder if the stage gets overcrowde still

Thursday – Relient K – The Stone Pony – Christian power pop  and their new album is killing it

Thursday – Sly And Robbie – Irving Plaza – Are you joking me? Wow, what a Thursday night.

Thursday – Buckwheat Zydeco – BB Kings  – New Orleans, Bayou must be seen to be believed

Thursday – Savages – Webster Hall – Biggest indie band around right now… We are still on Thursday, mind.

Thursday – Further – Barclay Center -I think this is my choice for the evening

Saturday – Warped Tour – Naussau Coliseum – And this s as close as it gets to nyc? I don’t think so…

Saturday – Don McLean and Judy Collins – Theater At Westbury – And they aren’t playing Manhattan? Makes no sense to me.

Sunday – Sublime With Rome – Stone Pony – Might be worth catching if only for the audience.

Sunday – Johnny Thunder’s Birthday Bash – Bowery Electric – Too much junkie business one more time
