Saturday Night is modern metal music night at the Prudential Center, and the headliners is one of my favorite modern metal bands, Five Finger Death Punch!! They are such hard metal they sound like hardcore, and this looks like an evening of awesome headbanging.

Tuesday – Last Tour On Earth – Jones Beach – Blues Travellers – Congrats, this is officially the worst week of the year for live music.
Wednesday – Ambassadors – Studio At Webster Hall – Gloom rockers are faves with the daytrotter crowd
Thursday – Sonny And The Sunsets – Mercury Lounge – If this ws 7 not 9p, I would have caught the West Coast indie band
Friday – John Prine And Lucinda Williams – Palace Theater At Albany – I like em both fine, but they're a little on the longwinded side
Sunday – D'Angelo – Jones Beach – Mary J goes on last but every knows he is why you came
