I wasn't insane over the Unplugged album, but man can she sing. And Florence + The Machine at radio City Music Hall is about about big as it gets. Listening to the setlist, I am psyched in another pretty good week. On Tuesday.
Monday – Spiritualized – T5 – Not insane over the newbie, and I missed the Floating In Space tour, they are the last man standing of the psychedelic Spacemen UK movement and were thrilling and inert the last time I saw em.
Wednesday – The Beach Boys – Beacon theater – 43 songs on the setlist… FORTY THREE SONGS!!!
Thursday – Mick Taylor – The Iridium – Last time I saw the great former Stones guitarist, so important in a golden three year span, he blew me away at the Bottom Line. Mick is the best guitarist the Stones have ever had, and you might wanna check him out yourself (and the Stones might wanna bring him along for the 51st Anniversary tour).
Friday – M. Ward – Webster Hall – With the Lee Renaldo Band no less. I'm not crazy about either but you probably are.
Saturday – Neon Indian – T5 – Really? Last time I sae em was at Mercury Lounge!
Sunday – Willie Nelson – Ulster Performing Arts Center – This is what a bad gig can do. I saw Willie once and it was the most boring three years of my life. I've been indifferent to him ever since. You, on the other hand, might enjoy a little snooze.
