I have made my prejudice clear when it comes to Dave Grohl many many times. I loved him as drummer with Foo Fighters and have disliked him ever since.
And I have made my feelings about Britney Spears pretty clear as well. I worship the woman.
So when Dave had this to say on Chelsea Lately " She just kinda seems dead inside, like there's nothing behind her eyes." He added, "Like there's nothing in her boobs anymore!", I guess everybody knows where my sympathies lie.Dave reminds me a little of Paul McCartney, they veil their personality in a mantle of bonne homie. None of us buy it too much and even if we did, it still feels like an act.
Anyway, McCartney is McCartney, what's Dave's excuse?
By that I mean, Macca is great and Foo Fighters suck so bad it isn't funny. Back when they started out they were opening bands to the stars, Rolling Stones one night, Hole the next, I couldn't go to a show for over a year without having to sit through 75 minutes of the damn band. I would get so sick of waiting for the loud fast snooze Foo I would miss bands I wanted to see because I was tired of waiting.
Britney might (might?) lip synch but you know what you're getting and really, to claim she is dead inside is gonna mean right? What does he base it upon? The fact that she doesn't pal around with the weasel looking jerk? Only a pothead like Nathan Williams wants to, everybody else is watching their back. He bases it upon her eyes. me, when I look into eyes I don't really see the insides of someones souls, that hits me as bullshit. Like so much of what Dave says and does.
