At Carnegie Hall during the Tibet House benefit last week, after decades of stage diving without an incident, Iggy Pop dove into the audience, everybody moved out of the way and Iggy fell flat on his face.
The moral according to Iggy is to never stage dive again.
But the real message is not to stage dive in the middle of well heeled charity wonks because they don’t give a shit. At Bowery Ballroom Iggy can stage dive with impunity. We would never let him fall.
