So here is a good mix for a tour… Bret Michaels & Lynyrd Skynyrd.
First Skynyrd tours with Kid Rock then Bret duets with Miley Cyrus and now Bret and Skynyrd tour together. Don’t get me wrong, but I think LS should hang it up. There are only what 1 or 2 of the original members left. I love Skynyrd, but enough is enough. If after 30+ plus years they can’t tour by themselves and need big name support – than it is time to call it a night.
I am a bit upset by this cause there won’t be the annual summer Poison hair band show. Past opening acts for the Poison shows were Cinderella, Dokken, & Sebastian Bach. My friends and I have been going to the ¼ filled Jones Beach Theater to see Bret, CC, Ricki and Bobby for years. After a while it became a tradition.
Looking at the tour dates, they are not evening coming to the metro NY area.. I guess they have to please the Skynyrd crowd in the sticks.
