1. White Christmas – Michael Buble And Bing Crosby – This isn't a particularly bad version, it culls a take off a Crosby Christmas special and through the magic of technology adds Buble, who is quickly becoming the American standards singer of choice. But all this forcing dead pop stars out of their graves and making them duet with people without their permission turns my stomach. It is grave robbing – Grade: F

2. Yeah Yeah – Willy Moon – The IPOD commercial song is a pop rhythm explosion with a hint of Native American war hoops – Grade: B+

3. Black Math – White Stripes – The great WHite Riff – Grade: A

4. I Dreamed  A Dream – Anne Hathaway – I am not sold on her voice, a touch screetchy, but this is a deeply felt version from the movie – Grade: A-

5. Gamma Rays – Aimee Mann – One of the greatest lines of the year: "one thing leads to another and none of its good" – Grade: A

6. You Got Me Rocking – The Rolling Stones – Reveals itself as an answer to "Can't You Hear Me Knocking", but more concise and to the point – Grade: A

7. Can You Hear Ne Knockin' – The Rolling Stones – Of course, this one had Mick Taylor's solo – Grade: A

8. Glycerine (Live feat Gwen Stefani) – Bush – The long married couple unite for Bush's biggie and the howl of the audience when she walks on stage alone is worth the price of admission – Grade: B+

9. Next To Me – Emeli Sande – Alright already, I'll give her this one – Grade: A-

10. Try – Pink – Heavy duty battle for her latest single and I can't save I approve – Grade: C+
