State Of Grace – Taylor Swift – One of Taylor's best songs though it took awhile to catch on, the killer pay off, "Love's a ruthless game unless you play it good and right" has three very very strong words and Swift nails each and every one of them. And the sound is exuberant, it is darkly shaded (which is why it took awhile) but that's because that "unless" is right on top of you – Grade: A

2. Grow Up – Cher Lloyd – She's like Ke$ha with a sense of humor – Grade: A-

3. Everything Has Changed – Taylor Swift – It took sseeing it live with Ed Sheeran at Jingle Ball but it sounds a simple sweet love song – Grade: A-

4. Want U Back – Cher Lloyd – Nasty girl and catchy as hell – Grade: A

5. One Thing – One Direction – Killed this one live but it probably helps when 20,000 are singing it back to you – Grade: A

6. State Of Grace (Acoustic Version) – Taylor Swift – Her best vocal performance on record – Grade: A

7. Alfie – Lily Allen – Oh dearie me… masterful ode to her pot smoking kid brother – Grade: A

8. I'm Yours – Jason Mraz – I give up. You deserve to be a hippie! – Grade: B+

9. Mistletoe – Justin Bieber – Sweet sweet sweet, but why do this r&b wannabees call their gals "shorty" – Grade: B

10. Get Down Like That – Ne-Yo – From 2006, back when he wanted to be Luther Vandross instead of User, and it shows – Grade: A-
