1. Only Wanna Dance With You – Ke$ha – This is the one where the Strokes join her and it is a killer track. Nothing much on its mind, but it bounces in perfect electro pop vein and when Julian joins her he doesn’t do much but add background candy but candy it is. Grade: A
2. The Bluff – Wiz Khalifa – Cam’ron is a great rapper but this stoned deep dubby type of weed rap is just too boring for my taste. Wiz is like being stoned on a Wednesday afternoon with nothing much to do – Grade: B-
3. Round Here – Florida Georgia Line – Average country rockers with a pretty good song under their belt – Grade: B
4. Everything Is Embarrassing – Sky Ferreira – New York Magazine’s pop song of the year. I don’t know why – Grade: B
5. I Love It – Icona Pop – Their first runner up is a much better thing with a nice fuzzy guitar and a hook-y bridge – Grade: B+
6.You Just May Be the One – The Monkees – That little bass lick gets me every time – Grade: A
7. Save Me – Hinder – Easy to lump with all those other lumpen rock and roll bands that have been shaming the state of the art, you know, the Linkin Parks and Daughtrys of the world, Hinder are much better than their peers. This is an awesome slice of post-grunge – Grade: B+
8. I’m One – The Who – Should be a highlight tonight – Grade: A
9.Let Us go On This Way – The Beach Boys – From one of my favorite albums of all the time, the magnificent and bubbly and very odd opening track – Grade: A+
10. Smack My Bitch Up – Prodigy – A clue for all you lovers of today, women don’t like being told they are being bitches even when they are being a lot worse than that – Grade: A
