Jon Bon Jovi On Daughter Stephanie's Heroine Overdose

According to AntiMusic.com: "Fox TV's Los Angeles affiliate's entertainment reporter Courtney Friel asked Bon Jovi about the incident and he responded: "What I do for a living seems glitzy and glamorous but if you don't take it too seriously it's a great way to make a living," he said. "And then life goes on. Things happen.' He added, "This tragedy was something that I had to face too so we'll get through it. And people's warm wishes for my family and I have been really reassuring. So, we're good"

This is Jon's smartest moments, it is the best thing he has ever said though it needs translating. What he is saying is this: being a rock star, if you don't take it too seriously, is a good job. But even a good job  can't protect you from life itself. You think I am this thing, and you are right, i am this thing, I get on stage and people scream for me, and I make tons of money and, well you name it, that is exactly who I am. But that thing, however good, maybe great, it is to be Jon Bon Jovi doesn't protect me from the vicissitudes awaiting all of us., I am not safe from what life can do to me.

And here is what it did to me, it took my most precious thing in the world, this sweet and lovely daughter, and it damaged her. And I don't know why. I can't explain why my life isn't what I want it to be, why I have this but I am not protected from what can happen to me. I am lucky and I am human and nobody gets away free from the wounds. Time always wins. It always comes round.

But I have my family and I have you as well, and  with your help and good wishes, me and my family and especially  my daughter are going to get through this.

That's what Jon Bon Jovi meant.
