Checking out their myspace I was more impressed. There are very few ‘myspace bands’ who will earn my buck. I will stream you for eternity, but buddy ya gotta sell me for me to buy you. And I have been sold.
In the world of hardcore its can all seem a blur you really need an extra ‘something’ to not be plopped into the same old same old category.
I’m excited by these guys. With a slight dash of angst and scream are 5 guys from Florida pushing their latest labor of love “House of Rats”.
From the opening riffs of “Maybe Holding Hands Wasn’t Such a Great Idea” through the rest of the 7 songs the energy is almost painful. I’m exhausted.
Seemingly a jackhammer on your heart forcing the blood and sweat to pulse out of you in time. That’s an amazing euphoria that I haven’t felt in way too long.
I’m pissed as hell that their current tour is taking them to the wrong fucking side of the country.
