Now here is a ticket hotter than Phish at MSG, Jay-Z and Coldplay at Barclay Center this New Year's Eve.
I dunno, I've seen both acts this year and thought they both left A LOT to be desired. Hova seemed nervous and while his 90 minutes had its moments, it didn't have that many, certainly not enough to justify the price or the hastle.
As for the bedwetters, they were awful at IZOD this summer, and Martin is such a starstruck bore it hits me as if it is much to do about nothing. I realize Coldplay are big, but they are also bad.
What Jay-Z SHOULD HAVE DONE is give Eddie Vedder a call. The one performance I really rgret missing this year was Jay-Z and Peal Jam playing "99 Problems". The video was a highlight of the year and better than Hova's entire performance at Barclay's earlier this year. I wish they'd release it.
But let's face it, Jigga doesn't have the greatest taste in rock and roll. Remember that godawful Linken Park album for a coupla years back?
Anyway, a sell out goes with the territory, and while I am pretty sure I'm gonna keep with Govt Mule, I might try and get a tix and see what happens… to put it another way, I won't go to a ticketbroker.
Info about tix it when we get it. Saturday, November 17th tix go on sale.
