Green Day Postpone Barclay Center, Rest Of January, February Tour

Green Day have cancelled the rest of their January/February 2013 tour, including the eagerly awaited Barclay's Center concert on January 16th, 2012.

Bassist Mike Dirnt said: "Obviously the timing for this isn’t ideal, but Billie Joe’s well-being is our main concern,” Mr. Dirnt said. “We are happy to say that Billie Joe is doing well.  “We feel bad we have to delay our tour, so to make up for it we want to give our fans the music earlier than we had planned."

The last sentence is about Green Day releasing Tres, the final of their three album set, earlier than planned.

OK, but here's a question, do people really spend six months in rehab? Isn't that an awful long time. I had read that Billie Joe had been on the wagon for a year when he fell off it in Las Vegas, that being the case however bad the relapse was it was alcohol as opposed to a more generic drug problem, and it was a relapse after months on the wagon, so he fell and got back up.

With a long tour looming you can absolutely see why Armstrong would want to straight, but six months?  According to adict-help.com, the average stay in an alcohol rehab center is 30 days. Who needs 180 days? What is going on here?

Why come out with your problems only to lie again because this sure seems like a big time lie to me.
